In Switzerland, winter means cool temperatures and perhaps a cup of warm tea, but it is the dry season in Ghana. It’s time for renovation work at the Savior Children’s Home in Ghana. Various parts of the orphanage urgently need our support, and together with Patrick and Honest, we have set priorities.

One of the most urgent issues concerns the roofs under which the children sleep. We were deeply moved to learn that over the past few months, rain has been seeping through the leaky roof. During the day, heat accumulates in the rooms, and it doesn’t get cooler at night either. The beds are no longer stable enough to withstand wind and rain. The children have no proper place to store their clothing, and the rooms are overcrowded and chaotic.

Our latest project aims to renovate the roofs and improve the living conditions of the children at the Savior Children’s Home. We urgently need your help to realize this endeavor.

Our budget is as follows:

Replacement of the roof supports with new, sturdy wooden supports.

Installation von stabilen Blechdächern.

Installation of fans to improve air circulation and reduce heat.

The donation phase has officially begun, and our goal is to raise $12,000. As an officially registered organization under the name “Smiles,” we are tax-exempt. This means that donations of 150 Swiss Francs or more are tax-deductible. We will gladly provide donation receipts so you can take advantage of this benefit.

Your support is crucial in providing the children at the Savior Children’s Home with better living conditions and a safe roof over their heads. Every contribution, whether large or small, makes a difference.

Together, we can bring a smile to the faces of these children. Help us make this important project a reality. Donate today and contribute to ensuring that these children have a brighter future.

Thank you very much for your generosity and compassion.
